Steel Challenge

Steel shooting offers a port of entry to the shooting sports that is far less intimidating than practical shooting. Steel shooting provides an excellent starting place for young or beginning shooters. It also provides a soft way for those who have begun to suffer the problems associated with ageing a vehicle to remain involved in the shooting sports. All this provides an alternative for those who might otherwise be lost to shooting.

The Nampa Rod and Gun club offers great MONDAY night shooting in the summer months for anyone wishing to shoot 22, 22 rifle, or centerfire handgun (38 to 45 Calibers), or even cowboy guns.

These matches start around 5pm, and last till the sun goes down or there are no more shooters. This is an extremely causual shooting event, but as always saftey is most important.

Bring your family and your gun and enjoy a night of inexpensive shooting.
