Steel Challenge

Steel shooting offers a port of entry to shooting sports that is far less intimidating than practical shooting. Steel shooting provides an excellent starting place for young or beginning shooters. It also provides a soft way for those who have begun to suffer the problem associated with ageing and a vehicle to remain involved in shooting sports. All this provides an alternative for those who might otherwise be lost to shooting.

The Nampa Rod and Gun Club offers great Monday shooting practice from April through September for anyone wishing to shoot .22lr rifle or centerfire handguns.

This is a casual shooting event, but safe firearms handling is always most important. Bring your family and enjoy a night of inexpensive shooting.

Wednesdays from 4pm to one-half hour before legal sunset. Anyone showing up after 7pm will not be able to shoot.

USPSA Steel Challenge Sanctioned Matches. Lower pits 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 are reserved.
